Matt Healy, Marriage and Family Therapy Intern - Matt takes a strength-based approach to therapy, and believes that focusing on the areas of a client's life which are working is more beneficial than pathologizing the areas which are not.
Charlotte Kay, Marriage and Family Therapy Intern - She has experience working with clients who seek therapy for a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, and relational issues. She also has experience with clients in crisis due to the economy, life changes, and grief. Charlotte has studied massage therapy, yoga, and meditation. She enjoys incorporating the mind-body connection into her practice and is skilled at tending to the individual needs of each client.
Janet Goldstein-Ball, Marriage and Family Therapy Intern - After many years of working in the entertainment industry as a Story Analyst and Development Executive, Janet recently returned to school and received her master’s degree in Counseling/Marriage & Family Therapy. She enjoys working with all populations, and plans to specialize in treating adolescents with substance abuse problems and eating disorders.
William Squier, Marriage and Family Therapy Intern. He has a calm and gentle presence, and provides you with a safe and secure space, a supportive relationship, in which to discuss sensitive and personal matters in your life. He has witnessed – on both sides of the couch – the power and effectiveness of the therapeutic encounter. Psychotherapy is a collaborative experience and he looks forward to accompanying and guiding you on your journey.
Patricia Stephens, Marriage and Family Therap Intern. She is African American. With her eclectic approach, she believes everyone’s needs are different, working with individuals, couples and families to understand and shift life long patterns of thinking and behaviors that manifest in current concerns. Her belief about therapy is that each person has the capability to resolve internal conflicts. She sees her role as a facilitator, guiding a person through their own process using empathy in a straightforward manner. With a particular interest in working with all backgrounds, she is sensitive to issues of gender, cultural and spiritual/religious beliefs. She has also been successful working with teens and young adults (16-30 years old).
Samantha Wyllie, Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee - She enjoys working with all age groups, including couples, families, children and adolescents. Through her life experiences and education, she has developed a deep appreciation for issues involving post traumatic stress, anxiety, ineffective communication, depression, loss, and substance abuse. She has special training in non-violent communication and conflict resolution with Dr. Marshall Rosenberg.
